Ezekiel “Zeke” Elliott is a professional football running back drafted fourth overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2016 NFL entry draft.
As a high school student-athlete, Elliott attended Ladue (MO) Burroughs, a school known for its athletics and academics. Elliott was a three-sport star in football, basketball and track, earning Track Athlete of the Year for the state of Missouri. Simultaneously, Elliott lead his football team to three straight title championship games. A highly scouted athlete, Elliott chose to forego attending his parents alma mater University of Missouri and attend Ohio State University instead.
At Ohio State, Zeke had an impressive freshman year rushing 262 yards on 30 carries and recording 2 touchdowns as the backup running back. In 2014, it was Zeke’s time to shine as he took over the position of starter. Elliott was named to the Academic All-Big Ten Conference Team. In 2015 Elliott and his Buckeyes defeated No. 1 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl where Elliott ran for 230 yards on 20 carries in his first ever college-football playoffs. He then went on to cap-off his championship winning season by defeating the Oregon Ducks and rushing for 246 yards on 36 carries and scoring 4 touchdowns. Zeke was named Offensive MVP for the game.
With an incredible record thus far, there is no doubt that Zeke is a force to be reckoned with on the football field. Zeke uses BioSteel’s full line of products to keep himself hydrated and help him to recover faster after grueling games. Zeke drinks BioSteel’s Sports Mix prior to and during his training and games. To recover, Zeke prefers BioSteel’s Advanced Recovery Formula.
