Patrick Mahomes is an MVP quarterback – the most exciting and talented quarterback to come along in years.  Mahomes was drafted in 2017 and took home the MVP award in 2018. In 2019 in just one game, Mahomes recorded 443 yards and 4 touchdowns, the sixth time in his 19-game career that he had at least 300 yards and four touchdowns. Mahomes started consuming BioSteel products through his trainer, Bobby Stroupe several years ago and hasn’t stopped since.

Gleyber Torres has gone from one of baseball’s rising stars to a perennial MVP candidate. Our relationship with Torres all started through a connection we have with a trainer working for Baseball’s most celebrated franchise. We found out he had been consuming our products throughout his Tommy John rehab and fantastic rookie campaign. Anyone that knew Gleyber had nothing but very positive things to say about him. Connor McDavid is regarded by many as the best hockey player in the world today. He began drinking BioSteel when he was 12 years old. At 15 he played in the annual BioSteel Pro Hockey camp. Considered by many to be the best wide receiver in the game, DeAndre Hopkins has been on a mission since entering the league. In 2015 he became the first player in league history with at least 9 catches and 145 receiving yards in 3 consecutive games. Hopkins followed that up by leading the league with 13 receiving touchdowns in 2017 and posting over 100 receptions, 1,000 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns the following two seasons. The perennial All-Pro has been consuming BioSteel products for years as is he meticulous about his health and training.

Jalen Ramsey is the best cornerback in football. Health and nutrition was very important in his house growing up, and his father, who is responsible for much of his training, is who turned him onto BioSteel products. Brooke Henderson is a Canadian professional golfer who has recorded nine tour wins as of 2019. She has the most victories of any pro golfer on major tours in Canadian history and won her first major at just 18 years old. She was named the Canadian Press female athlete of the year for 2015, 2017 and 2018. To this day, Brooke and her sister Brittany walk every fairway and read every putt with BioSteel by their side.

Tyler Seguin is a perennial all-star and Cup champion. Tyler has been consuming BioSteel products since his junior hockey days. His personal favourites are our Grape Hydration Mix and Chocolate Recovery Protein.

Drafted in 2015, Mike Soroka has quickly become one of the league’s best up and coming pitchers. After being called up in 2018 and making  5starts, Soroka put up a stellar 2019 season finishing 13-4 with a 2.68 earned run average in 2019. Those stats were good enough to make him an All-Star and finish 2nd in Rookie of the Year voting. Playing in the south, Soroka credits BioSteel for keeping him hydrated during the dog days of summer! 


Eugenie "Genie" Bouchard is a tennis player and is the first Canadian-born player representing Canada to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament in singles. Bouchard reached a career-high ranking of No. 5 in 2014, becoming the first Canadian female tennis player to be ranked in the top 5 in singles. Part of Genie’s fitness regimen included addressing her nutrition, which is where BioSteel came into play.

As a prominent do-it-all sportscaster and TV personality, and advocate for sugar-free products, Erin knows that nourishing her body the healthy way is important. Devon Kerr is a pro goalkeeper who just wrapped up her rookie season in the NWSL. She was named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year in 2018 when playing at Ohio State. The day he turned pro our phone rang and Andrew officially became a part of #TeamBioSteel. Growing up down the street from our head office, Andrew has very much been part of the fabric of our company, and will be for his entire career and beyond.

Ashley Sanchez is currently in the midst of her first season in the NWSL. Before being drafted 4th overall, Sanchez terrorized the competition while at UCLA breaking records for most assists in a career, season and NCAA tournament. Ashley is poised to make  the U.S Women’s National Team and BioSteel will be fueling her along the way!

Rosie MacLennan is a trampoline gymnast and two-time gold medalist. She is the 2013 and 2018 World Trampoline champion, 2012 and 2016 Olympic champion, and 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games champion in the individual trampoline event. She has also won five silver and four bronze medals in World Championship competition in both the individual and synchro events.

Morgan Weaver is on her way to becoming a feared striker in the NWSL. After scoring 43 goals and tallying 12 assists in four seasons with the Washington Cougars, Weaver was selected with the 2nd pick in the 2020 NWSL by the Portland Thorns FC. Morgan is an integral piece to the future of the U.S Women’s National Team. We’re thrilled to be adding Morgan to Team BioSteel!
