Introducing BioSteel Flavoured Creatine Packets

5 g of creatine. Three flavours. One packet built to go wherever you train.

BioSteel Flavoured Creatine Packets have arrived, now available on BioSteel.com and at Costco, giving athletes and anyone building a consistent training routine a convenient new way to add creatine to their day.

Each packet delivers 5 g of creatine monohydrate in one of three BioSteel flavours: Rainbow Twist, Pink Lemonade or Lemon Lime.

And you’ve already been showing up for them.

Our first online stock sold out fast. We’ve restocked, but demand continues to be strong and quantities are moving quickly. We’re working hard to keep up.

Why creatine monohydrate?

Creatine helps supply energy during short, intense efforts—the kind that show up again and again in training.

A heavy set. A hard acceleration. An explosive movement. Then doing it again.

Supplementing with creatine monohydrate can increase the amount of creatine stored in muscle, which is why researchers have studied it alongside resistance training, sprinting and repeated bouts of high-intensity exercise.

Creatine doesn’t replace the work. It’s used alongside the work that goes into training—and that combination is where much of the performance research has focused.

What does the strength research say?

A 2024 systematic review and meta-analysis, which included a University of Regina co-author, examined studies of adults under 50 who combined resistance training with creatine supplementation.

Compared with participants who trained while taking a placebo, the creatine groups gained an average of 4.43 kg more upper-body strength and 11.35 kg more lower-body strength across the measures analyzed.

Those numbers are averages across multiple studies, so individual results will vary. The comparison is what matters: both groups trained, and the groups supplementing with creatine made greater strength gains overall.

And the research goes beyond lifting.

The Australian Institute of Sport’s review of creatine research reports benefits for brief, high-intensity exercise, particularly when demanding efforts are repeated. It also describes improvements in lifting volume and strength when creatine supplementation is combined with resistance exercise.

Together, those findings help explain why creatine is used across different sports and training styles. Athletes build strength in the gym, then train to put it to work in the moments that demand speed and power.

Why put creatine in a packet?

Because consistency gets easier when your routine can move with you.

Keep a packet in your gym bag. Bring one to practice. Pack one when you travel.

No tub. No measuring. No scoop.

Just 5 g of creatine monohydrate in every packet.

The 60-packet Costco variety pack includes Rainbow Twist, Pink Lemonade and Lemon Lime, so you can switch up the flavour while keeping the serving consistent.

Every serving is zero sugar, and the product is NSF Certified for Sport.

The 5 g serving also fits established sports nutrition guidance. The Australian Institute of Sport describes 3–5 g per day as a maintenance approach and notes that consistent intake at that level can raise muscle creatine stores without a loading phase, although reaching that level takes longer.

Built for the way you train

We chose creatine monohydrate because it’s the form behind extensive performance research.

We chose packets because training doesn’t always happen in one place or on a perfect schedule.

The studies cited here examined creatine supplementation generally; they did not test BioSteel’s finished packets. We’ve taken that researched ingredient and put it into a measured, portable format that’s easy to make part of your routine.

Costco helped us introduce the packets to more people from the start. You took it from there.

Our first online stock sold out, and quantities continue to move quickly after restocks. We’re working hard to keep up with the demand you’ve created.

Wherever you train, bring the work. We’ll bring the creatine.
